Price list
The Minister of Health on the recommendation of the pricing committee made regulations that introduced a transparent pricing system for all medicines and Scheduled substances sold in South Africa.
This transparent pricing system contemplated in subsection (2) (a) of the MEDICINES AND RELATED SUBSTANCES CONTROL ACT 101 OF 1965 shall include a single exit price which shall be published as prescribed, and such price shall be the only price at which manufacturers shall sell medicines and Scheduled substances to any person other than the State.
